Bushel and Strike
This lovely old pub fits into the rural scene superbly. It has a delightful garden in the shadow of the village church.
The pleasant bar has wooden flooring and leather sofas with an array of photographs from days gone by, contrasting with the pastel shades around the bar. The main body of the pub, used for dining, is decorated in the same way, with stripped pine tables. The food looks and tastes good, and is served well. High-quality ploughman's lunches and sandwiches are also available. The Bushel and Strike is a Youngs & Wells house, so you will find Youngs Special and IPA, Bombardier, Eagle, Adnams Broadside, and a guest beer on offer, as well as a full range of lagers and bottled beers.
For special occasions, training, seminars etc we have a projector, large screen, wireless internet access, DVD and television tuner, so whatever your requirement we can accommodate.
